The room design should always look welcoming, pleasantly inviting, and must make the owners of the house feel comfortable. If it is designed with no effort, the owners will just feel uneasy and tired after a day’s work. The dining room design may also have a different function; it can be associated with the type of colors used, the lighting and the materials used.

The most important room in the house is the bedroom. Bedrooms should always be designed based on what the owner of the room wants and also to his/her own style. It may be constructed based on his/her favorite colors and also on how wide the room spacing and room design he/she wants. If there are other purposes intended for the room, then most probably it will be designed bigger from its normal and standard size.

As an example, if the owner of the room is only one person, it will be based on the intended area for a bedroom that will be occupied by one person. However, if the room will be occupied by two or more persons it will be most likely constructed with bigger spaces.

Usually the room design is based on the style, need and want of the owner of the room. It must also be a design that caters on its main function. Because there are certain parts of the house or the building that are used by the general public, like for example the living room and the dining room, there should be different ideas on each room.

The living room is the place where the owner of the house usually accepts all their visitors, that is why some design their own living rooms as beautiful as they can. First impressions last, that means that this might work as well as for the owners of the house. If the owner makes their living room unappealing for first time visitors, the visitors may refuse to return to the house that is not welcoming.
